oSérieux wants to emphasize that it always tries to act in accordance with the “Privacy Legislation” namely the Belgian Privacy Act of 8/12/1992 on the protection of privacy with regards to the processing of personal data, the EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27/04/2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC and the (future) Belgian legislation concerning the implementation of the mentioned Regulation.

  • The processing is necessary for the protection of the justified interest of oSérieux or of a third party, unless your interest or fundamental rights and your fundamental freedoms that require protection of personal data outweigh those interests (especially when you are minor)

 

Minors

 

We only process personal data of minors (persons under the age of 16) if written permission has been given by the parent or legal representative.

 

Disclosure of personal data to third parties

Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties. We only use services that process personal data if we have a processing agreement with it, if they are necessary for our services and information and if they can guarantee the secure storage of personal data with a guarantee for your privacy.

Any transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) to a recipient who has his domicile or registered office in a country that is not covered by an adequacy decision issued by the European Commission will be governed by provisions of a data transfer agreement that either will contain the standard contractual clauses as defined if the “European Commission Decision of 5/02/2010 (Decision 2010/87/EC°”, or will offer appropriate guarantees through any other mechanism under the Privacy Legislation of any other regulations concerning the processing of personal data.

 

Storage of personal data

Unless a longer retention period is required or justified by law or by compliance with another legal obligation, oSérieux only stores your personal data for the period necessary to achieve and fulfill the goals, such as described in this Privacy Statement under ‘III. use personal data’.

 

Security of personal data

The computers and internet connections on which your personal data are stored and transported are protected as well as possible against hacking, installing malware and other improper use. The computers and the network can only be logged in with a username and password.

 

Everyone who works on behalf of oSérieux can view or know your personal data is bound by the confidentiality of that information.

 

A backup of the personal data is made in order to be able to restore it in the event of physical or technical incidents.

 

All employees of oSérieux have been informed about the importance of protecting personal data and privacy.

 

Notwithstanding the safety policy of oSérieux, the checks it carries out and the actions it carries out in this context, an infallible level of safety cannot be guaranteed. No method of transfer or transfer via the internet nor any method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so oSérieux cannot guarantee absolute security in this context.

 

Update Privacy Declaration
